Hey, my name is Taylor Bandy

I was born and raised in York County, Pennsylvania, and now have my own private studio based out of West York. Here you'll find me working on some kind of project and hanging out with my cat, probably with Spiritbox jamming on the bluetooth speaker. Photography is definitely my main muse, and I truthfully cannot tell you how many times I've been yelled at for the amount of disposable cameras that I went through as a child.

It took me what felt like a very long time to find my niche. In a world where so many photographers existed, it felt so overwhelming... and I honestly gave up. I was told to find something more practical to do with my life, and the longer I tried to, the more depressed I became. As I reached the end of my 20's, I felt like I was reaching my breaking point— and I literally said f*ck it.

I have always loved the arts and the opportunity to create, so I began to pick up the pieces and try to actually try to do something about it. Being able to do what I do just feels like home, and I don't think I'll ever stop if I don't have to.

The world will always needs more art.

One of the things I've become known for is my live event work. My fiancé, John, has been my literal rock since I began to really push for my dreams. He does make appearances from time to time helping assist and has gotten pretty savvy with helping shoot on the rare occasion.

I feel like he deserves so much more recognition than he gets, especially with his help behind the scenes. Thank you for everything that you do to help the Bandy Studio dream continue!
